BHP Billiton
Global Headquarters Fitout
March 2003 – December 2003
Rutledge Engineering provided audiovisual and videoconferencing services for BHP Billiton’s relocation to their Global Headquarters at the Queen Victoria Site in Melbourne.
The project included all engineering, installation and commissioning works and consisted of more than 140 rooms located on 11 different levels. Overall, 26 separate videoconference systems were installed, 8 small videoconference rooms and 4 linked videoconference rooms.
Rutledge also integrated the dREAm Scheduler® digital media system to control 2 plasma monitors on each floor. The monitors were programmed to display stock market information, live television, advertisements and other general information.
