Waverley College
April 2003 – August 2003
Rutledge Engineering designed and installed four integrated audiovisual systems within Waverley College. The largest system was built in to the Performing Arts Centre Auditorium, which consisted of a Main Stage and Control Room, and is used for school productions and general curriculum activities.
The installation within the Auditorium enabled control of sound, lights, cameras, paging and curtain operation via touch screens located at the stage and the control room in either an automated mode or a manual mode (using the mixing desk for audio control). Rutledge also completed the installation within the Recording Studio which is linked to the Auditorium via tie lines. This allowed for recording of two local band rooms as well as high-quality audio and video recording of productions performed in the Auditorium.
Also included was a CCTV system, with tie lines linked to the Control Room and Recording Studio for Stage Production modulated onto the MATV system. Rutledge Engineering also carried out installations within 4 classrooms to provide playback functions of audiovisual material.
