AGL Energy wanted its new Melbourne workplace to reflect its ‘energy in action’ brand and its values: sustainability, employee unity and an honest, straight-forward approach to doing business.

Rutledge AV was engaged by AGL to provide an integrated audio visual solution that would reflect its easy, open and approachable business style.

AGL’s workplace (built on top of Southern Cross Train Station) had to adapt readily to the changing needs of the organisation and its 1,500 Melbourne-based employees. The project required a solution which provided a consistent look and feel across various systems; and could be monitored and supported remotely.

AGL has adopted a style of working which aims to enhance collaboration, allow for better use of space and resources and re-energise the workplace.

Rutledge AV was engaged by AGL to provide an integrated audio visual solution to facilitate the objectives of the company.

AGL had identified early in the process that emerging technologies such as MS Lync room integration and wireless presentation facilities were key in supporting their activity-based working model. Rutledge AV worked closely with vendors and AGL to build room prototypes to evaluate the new technologies and determine the best approach to integration.
