What part will you play?

We are currently looking for a passionate, confident and high calibre tender bid manager who has a hunger to drive new business revenue and build long lasting relationships. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the management and preparation of competitive and comprehensive tenders and quotations. You will be working closely with Estimators, Engineering, Projects and the Service team to ensure offers are delivered on a timely basis. You will report to the Sales Manager.  We are looking for someone with Audio Visual background, however ICT Sales or similar industry background will be considered.

Duties

  • Management of Tender preparation, coordination Estimators, Engineering and Support staff
  • Enter data into our ERP system to produce quotes
  • Reviewing and assessing specifications and drawings for the preparation of quotations and tenders
  • With the assistance of the Estimators, coordinate the preparation of tender response deliverables; including offers, costs, tender response forms, service level agreements etc
  • Ensure timely delivery of proposals
  • Chase up of submitted quotes is to be performed on a weekly basis as a minimum on each outstanding bid
  • Provide ongoing reports to the Western Australia Sales Manager about current / ongoing activities and future prospects
  • Develop a sales strategy for proposals and incorporate into the offer
  • Plan a schedule of deliverables, including task allocation and dates for efficient and productive preparation of tender bid
  • Assess audio visual design for suitability, manage assistance with Engineering / Pre Sales
  • Produce final documentation for offer and coordinate sign off
  • Liaising with relevant staff, clients, Builders and Consultants
  • Attend Builder interviews and meetings with Sales Manager to assist in closing opportunities
  • Assist with non-tender sales

Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a high level of accuracy
  • Outstanding computer skills with good knowledge of both Word and Excel
  • Positive and cooperative attitude towards the tasks, management and team members, ability to work within a "Team"environment
  • Outstanding communication skills with all levels of clients
  • Proven track record in managing a team and confident in responding to tender requests
  • Knowledge of integrated audio visual systems
  • The ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Professional standard of customer service
  • Flexibility with availability in order to meet deadlines
  • Strong technical knowledge of integrated audio visual systems
  • History of delivering and exceeding sales targets is essential
