You will be part of an experienced and motivated team responsible for the installation of Audio Visual Solutions to our impressive and growing client base in NT.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with prospective clients, existing customers, consultants, builders and suppliers to cultivate new business opportunities for Rutledge AV, ultimately driving sales of audio visual, VC, IT and service related products.
  • Champion and drive new sales initiatives and opportunities.
  • Systematically follow-up submitted quotes and proposals liaising with both Customers/Prospects as well as internal Rutledge AV staff to maximize sale conversions.
  • Perform ongoing account management of your key clients.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Sales Manager about current activities, future prospects and market intelligence.
  • Keep abreast of technological advances in AV, VC and IT fields.
  • Promote and work with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform quality standards in all areas of the business.
  • Develop new strategic business relationships.
  • Understand and define the client’s technology requirements and scope.
  • Negotiate and close sales.
  • Perform diligent recording of opportunities within the Rutledge AV CRM.
  • Participate in marketing and communications strategies and activities.
  • Foster and promote the company, product and brand presence in the market.

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of integrated audio visual systems essential.
  • Business development and account management experience essential.
  • Well-developed consultative sales skills
  • Experience with producing accurate and timely proposal response documentation.
  • Attention and eye for detail combined with a high level of accuracy.
  • Professional attitude to customer service.
  • Current valid driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of service delivery essential.
  • The skills and strategic ability to develop new business within corporate, education and government markets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Work within a team environment.
  • Computer skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel and CRM system.
  • Positive and cooperative attitude towards the tasks, management and team members.
