About the role

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will utilise your technical expertise in programming to deliver projects on time and to budget.

You will collaborate with our team to provide control system programming and project engineering support for our audio visual installations.

You will engage clients ensuring our systems meet specification and function, to their expectations.

Duties

  • Write software and design GUI's for a variety of AMX, Crestron and Extron control systems and touch panels.
  • Develop custom PC software for applications such as scheduling, signal routing and equipment control.
  • Technical liaison with internal departments, as well as external parties, such as consultants and clients, regarding recommended system design, implementation and functionality.
  • Provision of high quality customer technical support on audio visual systems.
  • Participate in professional training in all facets of Audio, Video and Network Technologies.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in programming AMX, Crestron and/or Extron software desirable.
  • Experience in C Programming for embedded systems.
  • Excellent understanding of Serial communications and Ethernet networks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in GUI development.
  • Knowledge of digital electronics.
  • Experience with C#, Python, JavaScript and HTML5 desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task in this fast paced environment
  • Motivated to develop yourself and continually learn, keeping up to date with ever-changing technologies.
  • Qualifications in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
