About the role

The key focus to this onsite position is to provide a high level of technical service and support to our clients whilst based at their premise. This position will be responsible for providing high level technical and customer support including fault finding, resolving technical issues and reporting.  This position is responsible for the efficient running of day to day audio visual operations within our client’s premises.

Duties

  • Delivery of consistent, friendly and responsive service and to develop and document accepted agreed standards of service and meeting support
  • Exceed the clients expectations by being proactive in handling and resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently and courteously
  • Identify and implement new initiatives for improving service standards
  • Liaise with reception, IT and facility teams for booking requirements, facilitation and cross training
  • Input, update and maintain accurate bookings and co-ordinate meeting requests including communication with internal and external parties to fulfil specific requirements
  • Understand and effectively communicate the full range of services to users and clients
  • Providing onsite service, fault finding and technical diagnosis
  • Demonstrate and reinforce the service standards at all times and provide the necessary leadership to gain commitment from the client and associated facilities team
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for training the clients’ team across all locations where necessary to ensure consistently maintain standards and skill level
  • Prepare event orders accurately ensuring all events are delivered as per the requirements
  • Manage media requests professionally by providing support leading up to and during live event production
  • Ensure all documentation is kept up to date and stored in a structured manner at all times and reporting to management and the client is completed in an efficient manner

Skills and Experience

  • Critical to be proficient in engaging and communicating with top end senior executives and their PA’s
  • Previous experience working in a corporate environment
  • Advanced knowledge in video conferencing and control systems, in particular AMX & Polycom
  • A passion for providing high level technical support and customer service
  • Strong attention to detail with your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Experience using the ServiceNow platform an advantage
  • Experience with audio and video equipment systems
  • Experience in fault finding, audio visual schematics and digital sound processors
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using MS Office with particular emphasis on WORD and EXCEL
