We are currently looking for a passionate, confident and high caliber sales executive who has a hunger to drive new business revenue and build long lasting relationships.

We are looking for someone with a strong sales background in Audio Visual systems/integration, however ICT Sales or similar industry background will be considered.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with prospective clients, existing customers, consultants, builders and suppliers to cultivate new business opportunities for Rutledge AV, ultimately driving sales of audio visual, video conferencing, IT and service related products
  • Champion and drive new sales initiatives and opportunities
  • Prepare estimations and quotations
  • Manage client expectations and Rutledge AV response to quotation and tender requests, in an accurate and timely manner with a personalised feel
  • Perform client Account Management meeting throughout project build / construction
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Sales Manager about current activities, future prospects and market intelligence
  • Keep abreast of technological advances in Audio Visual, Video Conferencing and IT fields
  • Pursue pre-qualified leads and tender opportunities identified via various sources
  • Understand and define the client's audio visual requirements and scope
  • Liaise with Estimating, Engineering and other staff in preparation of quotation or tender response
  • Systematically follow-up of submitted quotes and proposals liaising with Customers / Prospects as well as internal Rutledge AV staff to maximize sales conversions
  • Perform diligent recording of opportunities within the Rutledge AV CRM
  • Participate in marketing and communications strategies and activites
  • Foster and promote the company, product and brand presence in the market

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years sales / business development experience (preferable in audio visual)
  • Versatility, resourcefulness and resilience
  • The skills and strategic ability to develop new business
  • Well-developed consultative sales skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • A detailed understanding of Estimation, particularly with reference to construction projects
  • Good AV technical understanding and knowledge of integrated audio visual systems highly desirable
  • Well-developed consulting and sales skills
  • The skills and strategic ability to develop new business
  • The skills and ability to build and maintain long term partnerships with clients ensure ongoing and repeat business
  • Vision, drive and the ability to think outside the box
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of both Word and Excel and CRM concepts
  • Current valid driver's licence
