You will utilize your technical expertise in programming to deliver projects on time and to budget. You will collaborate with our team to provide control system programming for our audio visual installations. You will engage clients ensuring our systems meet specification and function to their expectations.+

  • • Provide technical guidance to service technicians in providing solutions for customers.
  • • Demonstrate leadership to the wider service team in fulfilling customer requirements
  • • Provision of high quality customer technical support on customer AV systems, with priority to those with service and maintenance agreements
  • • Provide technical and operator system training on both Rutledge system installations and third party installed systems
  • • Responsible for planning and organising preventative maintenance schedule
  • • Provide technical support to clients on site and assisting with the Helpdesk as required
  • • Demonstrate and reinforce the service standards at all times
  • • Identify and facilitate opportunities for training the clients team across all locations where necessary to ensure consistently maintained standards and skill level
  • • Input, update and maintain accurate bookings and co-ordinate meeting requests including communication with internal and external parties to fulfil specific requirements
  • • Assist SDM in co-coordinating and delivering our service offerings to customers
  • • Demonstrate commitment to our customers by solving complex and technically challenging faults
  • • Provide onsite service and fault finding including third party repairs where necessary
  • • Document all service works performed including client initiated callouts and preventative service inspections
  • • Provide technical liaison with clients regarding recommended system modifications and upgrades
  • • Provide 24/7 support to customers via the Rutledge handset service as required
  • • Keep track of bookings of service team and updating of calendar
  • • Liaise with customer teams for booking requirements, facilitation , cross training and ensuring events and delivered as per the requirements
  • • Other duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • • Experience with audio and video equipment
  • • Experience in fault finding, audio visual schematics and digital sound processors
  • • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • • Experience using MS Office with particular emphasis on WORD and EXCEL
  • • Advanced knowledge in video conferencing and control systems
  • • A passion for providing high level technical support and customer service
  • • Strong attention to detail with your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • • Current valid driver’s licence
