What part will you play?

We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician to assist us in servicing a growing client base to facilitate and maintain high levels of customer care.  The position requires a combination of technical knowledge, reporting, and client relationship skills as the position is responsible for the efficient running of day to day audio visual operations.

  • • Provision of high quality client technical support on customer audio visual systems
  • • Provide technical and operator system training
  • • Provide timely and accurate documentation on all service works performed, including client initiated callouts and preventative service inspections
  • • Providing onsite service maintenance and fault finding
  • • Provide technical liaison with clients, engineering and project departments regarding recommended system modifications, design and upgrades where necessary
  • • Provide 24/7 support to customers via the RAV Pager service as required

Skills & Experience

  • • Experience with audio and video equipment systems
  • • Experience in fault finding, audio visual schematics and digital sound processors
  • • Accurate and detailed reporting in our ticket based service system
  • • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • • Experience using MS Office with particular emphasis on Word and Excel
  • • Defence clearance not essential but desired
  • • Knowledge and experience in AMX and Crestron video conferencing and control systems
  • • Undertaking temporary postings at our resident technician sites
  • • A passion for providing high level technical support and customer service
  • • Strong attention to detail with your ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • • Current valid driver’s licence
  • • Basic networking and programming skills are highly regarded
