We have an opening in our Sydney office for a Site Supervisor to carry out the day to day on site supervision & coordination of project work to assist with facilitating the following outcomes:

  • The timely completion of projects
  • Completing projects within budget and to a high standard
  • That site technicians carry out safe work practices
  • Satisfied customers
  • Quality standards and practices are maintained
  • Appropriate standards of behaviour are maintained and the company is represented in a professional manner

  • In collaboration with the Project Manager, oversee and monitor the progress of the project, ensuring it is completed by the nominated date
  • Supervise and oversee assigned technicians monitor quality of work, speed of work, punctuality and employee attire
  • Problem escalation and general reporting to keep the assigned Project Manager well informed on site activities
  • Preparation of shop drawings and submission to the builder after approval by the Project Manager
  • Organising wall plates and custom metalwork orders, production and any required engraved
  • Organising vehicles to be available as and when required
  • Ensuring security of all tools, equipment and materials on site
  • Early escalation of problems and in particular reporting anything that could jeopardize the above
  • Organise day to day activities on site including supervision of staff, ordering of required materials, liaising with the builder's foreman/representatives and other trades
  • Ensuring all Rutledge employees and any assigned subcontractors or casuals practice sage work methodologies
  • In collaboration with the Project Manager, checking what equipment has arrived and what is outstanding
  • Working with the Project Manager to ensure the project has adequate staff resources
  • Ensuring any equipment manuals/documentation is returned to the office (in good condition) for inclusion in user manuals
  • Others duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • Have completed a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications, or a Certificate III in Telecommunications qualification
  • Current Test and Tag qualifications
  • Defence security clearance would be an advantage
  • Current First Aid Qualifications including to a minimum standard of HLTAID01, HLTAID02 and HLTAID03
  • 5+ years experience in audio visual installation
  • Current motor vehicle licence
